The largest healthcare organization in the South Florida region with medical practices spanning from Key West to Palm Beach, is seeking to employ a Thoracic Surgeon to join its well established program which has been awarded 11 High Performing ratings from U.S. News & World Report (2025-2026), for colon, lung, prostate, gynecological, blood, and complex cancers. LCI brings together more than 30 dedicated physicians and cancer-care specialists delivering comprehensive care, participates in 18 active clinical trials advancing new treatments, has 4,000 newly diagnosed patients each year and more than 9 clinics and programs.
Full-Time Opportunity
Candidates must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Thoracic Surgery by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery
At least two years in an outpatient setting required
EBUS, laparoscopic and open procedures required; robotics preferred but not required
Requirements include MD/DO from an accredited institution, active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date), and satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing
Candidates will demonstrate experience in general thoracic surgery, provide comprehensive surgical care for thoracic benign and malignant disease including lung and esophageal cancer, and mediastinal tumors while developing individualized surgical treatment plans informed by the latest clinical guidelines using minimally invasive and robotics techniques
Participate in research initiatives and quality improvement projects
